main__buildingpic.jpgMost makes of multiplier reels serviced and repaired from £10 + postage.

I can return most reels within one week depending on parts availability. Your reel will be completely stripped down, cleaned, lubricated, repaired if needed and tested. If any spares are required I will advise you of the cost before fitting.

I only use the best lubricants - including Cal's Drag Grease and Reel X, which I import from the States, and Corrosion Block Grease and Lube which was featured in Boat Fishing Monthly (Dec 08).

The main reasons for reel failure is caused by bearings seizing up which don't cost much more than £6, or the drag washers sticking, which can normally be fixed with a clean (using brake cleaner) and some of Cal's Drag Grease.

To get your reel serviced, download and fill in one of these forms.

1. Repair form as a PDF file
2. Repair form as a Word document

Send it to me with your reel and payment (details on the form).

Mitchell and Okuma are very hard to find parts for, so unless it is just a service or bearing I am no longer able to repair these reels.

Also cheap reels like Fladen, Rovex and Gravell do not do spares.

I also repair fixed spool reels, but please phone before sending as many are not worth doing and parts for reels that have been out of production for more than five years are unobtainable in most cases.

I am now taking payment by PayPal and direct bank transfer as well as cheque. If you require better postage please let me know.
